Bramwith Landaulette
Vinnie is a replica of the 1931 Ford Model A and is called a Bramwith Landaulette.
The Bramwith is the most versatile of the replica cars that they build due to it’s seating arrangements. There are two bench seats in the back facing each other, these will easily accommodate two adults each or the rear facing seat can take three smaller persons. There is also room for one adult next to the driver.
Vinnie is finished on the outside in navy blue and Old English white (cream) and looks very impressive. On the inside the seats are cream leather with a navy trim and navy carpet to the floor. Being a new car it has some of the more modern creature comforts such as heaters and a radio/CD player.
The very rear section of the roof folds down to give an open top, which provides an ideal setting for photographs. As it is not the whole roof that folds, the rear passengers are offered some protection from the wind by the main part of the roof. However, we envisage that most brides will want to travel to their ceremony with the roof up, so as not to ruin their hair; but maybe travel to the reception with the roof down in order to be seen more clearly by their guests.
Obviously this is your choice and depends very much on the weather on the day (something we have no control over!).
You may be wondering where the name Vinnie came from, when cars are supposed to have girls’ names! Although it is a new car, we decided to purchase a dateless number plate to make it look more authentic. So we bought this registration and found out that the previous owner was an elderly gent named Vinnie – it therefore seemed fitting to name the car after him.
