Charlie is another hand built car, built in 2000 and based on a forties Jaguar.
This car will comfortably seat 2 people in the rear – it is very spacious with room for the biggest of dresses; there is also room for one adult next to the driver if necessary.
Charlie is finished on the outside in navy blue and Old English white (cream) so pairs up well with Vinnie. On the inside the seats are cream leather with blue carpet to the floor. This car benefits from electric windows and a radio/CD player.
Charlie is a Royale Windsor Landaulette, and was designed by the same person who went on to design the Regent and Imperial wedding cars. Although not new when we purchased it, the car had been well looked after by the previous owner and was in excellent condition for a ten-year-old vehicle. The engine is from a 1986 Ford Granada Scorpio.
As for the name – it doesn’t bear any resemblance to the number plate this time! We named him after my elderly uncle from Norfolk who took a great interest in our cars, but sadly died before we had a chance to take any of them to Norfolk to show him. We’re looking out for a registration number that fits the name.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for Cassie on our wedding day. The weather was a bit grey but Graham got the top down for the drive back through London and it was one of the highlights of the day! Everyone loved it!
