James is a cream & blue Imperial Regent Landaulette. He was built in 2009 by the Regent Motor Company.
James is finished on the outside in blue and Old English white (cream); on the inside the seats are cream leather with blue piping, and blue carpet to the floor.
Like the Imperials in our fleet, James started life as a London taxi (black cab) and maintains the original chassis, engine etc., but with the cab body removed and the bespoke body put on. The Regent was the previous design of John Barlow, who then went on to design the Imperials.
Being cream & blue, James will pair up well with Vinnie or Charlie if two cars are required.
James takes his name from his previous owner, from whom we purchased the car after his retirement at the end of 2013.

The journey to & from the location for our portrait photos in the car was really special & unforgettable - in fact it was the only time during the day that as newly married husband & wife had alone time! For this reason alone it was worth spending some of our wedding budget on a nice car!
